IRS Back Taxes

will the IRS and state garnish my financial aid refund if I owe back taxes?.

I owe the state of Maryland and the IRS for back taxes and I'm paying both (monthly payments). Will the garnish my financial aid refund even though I'm making payments for the past two years? I need the refund to buy my books and a new computer for my online class.

If you are in a payment plan and has not defaulted then IRS will not levy any of your wages or refunds.

good luck
