eFile irs forms
I early exercised my options (ISO) in 07 and filed 83b election. How do I report this in my 07 tax return? thx.
The grant price and exercise price are the same so I did not make any money in this transaction. However, I am not sure which form I should use to report this in my 07 tax return. I also think I need to send my 83b to IRS, does that mean I cannot efile? Thanks in advance.
A copy of the § 83(b) election must be included with that person's income tax return for the taxable year in which the property is transferred. Income Tax Regs. § 1.83-2(c).
As such you may not be able to efile.
