taxact online tax return
I set up direct deposit for my federal tax return through taxACT.com. Will I really get it on time?.
I hear taxACT.com is the best site to go through... I've used it before, and never had a problem, however this year I decided to go the direct deposit route because it was stating that, that's the faster way to get the refund.
I dont know anyone who's used direct deposit for their federal return before, and I cant find any up to date information online from people complaining about not getting it when promised or stating they did indeed get it when scheduled. I checked the irs.gov site that tells you the return schedule, and it says that I'm due to get it tomorrow on the 18th... But i'm just a little uneasy since i've never done this before... I'm probably over thinking everything, and everything is OK, but i figure i'd ask here.
SO my question...
Anyone used taxACT.com and selected direct deposit before? Did you get your refund when the irs.gov site said you would? -- If not, what happened and how did you handle it?
It doesn't matter who does your taxes, as long as the irs hotline says you will get it on the 18th I can guarantee you that you will! I have done direct deposit for many years now and always get it on time. In fact, sometimes I get it the day before!!

How to print your tax return using TaxACT Online.
Why are there already deductions/exemptions on online tax forms before I enter anything?.
When using TaxAct.com for tax purposes I noticed in my return boxes that there are already deductions/exemptions amount before I enter any information. Its like this also in my state return box. Is this normal and have I never noticed it. Do you start off with these deductions/exemptions before entering any information from your W-2? I even created another account to try again and it still stated them. Thanks for any help!
standard deductions and exemptions are for everyone... everyone gets these, it's just a matter of how you file that determines how much and you probably already answered questions when putting your basic info in..
i use this site too.. it's a good one
